The exhibit for November & December is “Reclaimed Treasures” Opening reception is November 6th 530-7PM.
Christmas is right around the corner, and this gallery is about to celebrate 40 years since we first opened our doors to become an integral part of this community. In a world full of big-box stores and two-day shipping, it can be easy to forget the powerful impact of shopping local. But behind every handcrafted mug, artisan necklace, or hand painted piece of art is a real person with a story, a skill, and a dream. Supporting locally-owned businesses is more than a nice idea, it’s a meaningful way to foster economic resilience, environmental responsibility, and a strong sense of community. In a world ruled by mass production and convenience, choosing to shop local and support handmade goods is a bold, intentional act. It’s more than buying unique items —it’s an investment in economic growth, sustainability, and cultural preservation. Every purchase from a local artisan or neighborhood shop sparks a ripple effect, uplifting communities, protecting the planet, and honoring traditions for generations to come. Every handmade piece is a story that begins with a single vision, skillfully shaped by hand and heart.
November & December’s show, “Reclaimed Treasures” at Art Adventure Gallery, is thanks to the generous donations of artists, craftspersons and other supporters of Jefferson County Art Association. We will be offering these beautiful pieces of Fused Glass, Pottery, Woodworking, Sculpture & Paintings at prices that are so affordable that it will make shopping locally a Christmas gift to everyone! Proceeds from this show will help us continue the mission of this important organization.
